Pre-Configured Form Fields

These Asset objects create form fields when dropped on an open document. Some of the fields created include JavaScripts which will validate their input when the user clicks outside the field.

To insert the form object into your page, drag the field onto the HoTMetaL PRO document window.

Note: You can test them directly in the Resource Manager: Right-click, then left click, at the end of the text field, backspace over the current contents, then enter an input string you'd like to test. When you click outside of the field, the contents of the field will be validated. If it is incorrect, a warning prompt will appear.
